Love is in the air, and we have a lot of love and appreciation to go around–so much that, in addition to our February Board Member of the Month, Rafael Ortiz, we wanted to recognize all six (6!) of our Community Leaders who are the steady heartbeat of our chapter’s programming.

Please join us in recognizing and give a full-hearted “Congratulations!” to our February Board Members and Volunteers of the Month.

February 2019 Board Member of the Month: Rafael Ortiz

  • Professional role:  Senior Manager of Client Solutions at Engine Insight
  • AMA Volunteer position: VP Research & Insights
  • Reason for recognition (aka “AMA super power”): Our chapter relies on surveys to ensure that we are providing the high-quality programming and professional development experiences that benefit members and friends of AMA Cincinnati. To be done well, surveys need to be scientific, consistent, and expertly analyzed in order to be understood and used for actionable feedback. New to the role this year, Rafael has elevated this function within our chapter, cross-pollinating with other board members to ensure a robust survey was deployed for January Content Marketing Month programming, as well as a Volunteer Survey. If this isn’t a reminder itself–remember to take your surveys after a major AMA event!
  • Fun fact: “I’ve been known for busting out singing or humming for no reason at odd times and in odd circumstances!”
