Jenni Autry
Associate VP, Marketing Communication
How long have you been an AMA member?
I joined the AMA in June 2022 and jumped at the chance to join the AMA Cincinnati Board as Associate Vice President, Marketing Communication.
What is your role with the AMA?
I spearhead our blog content creation efforts on the MarCom Committee and am currently leading the charge for our January 2023 Content Marketing Month programming. I also sit on the DEI Committee for the AMA Professional Chapters Council.
Why do you participate in the AMA?
I joined the AMA because my team at my day job is 100% remote, and I was missing face-to-face time with my fellow marketers. I strongly believe it is important to surround yourself with highly driven people who will inspire you to grow professionally and personally. I am delighted to have found my tribe at AMA Cincinnati.
Why would you encourage others to join the AMA?
As one of the leading national chapters, AMA Cincinnati has so much to offer to members. Whether you want to become a mentor to fellow marketers, help local startups and nonprofits with pro-bono projects, or join a committee to further your skills, there is a fit for everyone.

How long have you been an AMA member?
I have been an AMA member since June 2022. I became the Director of Membership in August and officially joined the board as the VP in October.
What is your role with the AMA?
I currently serve as the VP of Membership for our chapter. This is a great position, as I get the opportunity to meet all of the amazing marketers in the area and help them reach their professional goals.
Why do you participate in the AMA?
I participate in the AMA because I am currently an aspiring marketer hoping to make the leap from childcare into the marketing world. The AMA has so many opportunities to make that goal a reality. Since joining, I have received a mentor, learned about the customer and employee experience at IGNITE!, as well as met some REALLY amazing individuals. Joining the AMA was one of the best decisions that I have made in a long time!
Why would you encourage others to join the AMA?
I would encourage anybody who is looking to join the AMA to go for it. It is true what everybody says: you get what you put into it. Come out to a Coffee and Conversation and learn more about our AMAzing award-winning organization!
